MCA called off the search. Nothing found, false alarm with good intent.

Lifeboat launched to a report of an Inflatable dinghy drifting 1nm off Waxham Sands. Crew searched for 30minutes before MCA called off the seach. Nothing found, false alarm with good intent.
Lifeboat launched to assist a17foot Orkney Fishing boat with engine failure, although they had their anchor down, there was concern that because of the increasing wind and the height of the waves this would not hold the vessel. When the lifeboat crew arrived, the vessel was within 20ft of Reef 3. It was decided to return the vessel to the safety of the beach.

Lifeboat launched to Jetski with engine and steering problems, 1 1/2 miles south of reef 9, two people on board of which one was disabled. Boarded both passengers and towed back to the safety of Sea Palling beach.
